FOOD TECHNOLOGY

Basically am food technologist and am currently doing my final year post graduate.. Actually I wanted to tell u something.. Do u know who is food technologist? .. U all strongly believe that the word food always relates to catering!! But if u understand in that way then please study from the first standard again for better language skill.. And one more, when u see the word technology does it say just a process of cooking?!! If so then again you are proving your weak language.. Catering is completely different from food technology.. Catering is the process of making foods..But the food technology is all about the mechanisms behind the process which answers why what how in a technical manner.. (For example the stability of the foam when egg is whipped is due to protein content..Whereas water foam is not stable because of no protein) then the equipments used and also the designing of equipments (mass transfer, heat transfer, thermodynamics) according to the capacity for large scale and small scale industry level..

Many say food technology as an interesting course because everyone knows it as they cook even at home.. But you are absolutely wrong.. As the theories can be applied in our everyday practical life, I say it as an interesting subject..

A mechanical engineer is called as mechanical engineer.. An electrical student is called as electrical engineer..Information technology student is called as software engineer.. Computer science student is a hardware engineer.. Marine engineering student is called as marine engineer.. But why not food engineering student as food engineer and food technology student as food technologist?! North India and other parts of world has some knowledge about the food technologists..but its importance is lacking in South..

Think!!! Foods for the future are preserved by us.. space foods are created by us.. ready-to-eat, ready-to-serve foods are been processed by us.. and many more can be listed here..food is the necessary part of our life more than anything.. so create awareness!! FOOD TECHNOLOGISTS AND FOOD ENGINEERS ARE ALSO ONE OF THE LEADING ENGINEERS AND TECHNOLOGISTS!!!

Our former president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the legend who expired in the past week is the real hero for most of us.. He created the concept "India 2020 as developed nation".. that was the first time in history a political leader's funeral took place without any violence.. whole India was sad for his condolence.. Most of the channels telecasted his videos and quotes.. Families spent time only with watching all those..  Many kept his picture as profile picture and posted his quotes on social networking sites..He once said " Don't give a holiday for my death rather work an extra day " but we all had two days of leave.. So don't end up only with reading his quotes and sharing his picture, status.. if u r a true follower of him then work for an extra day.. plant some trees in his name.. spend for charity.. give your hands to help someone.. there's lot more than these to show your love towards him..sure his soul will rest in peace..

unforgettable bdaeee !!

July 26, 2015 was ma 23rd birthday.. it was an unforgettable bdaee too..  with lots of gifts.. surprises.. love.. affection.. etc etc etc.. i have completed 22 years of ma lifetime.. But em still a small child to ma beloved ones.. dad says "i just took u to school for ur LKG admission".. mom says "i just saw u very small and took in hands".. bro says "i just admired ur beautiful tiny fingers".. grandma says "i juz entered d room seeing u very little in arms".. everyone are same to their parents.. its a very nice feel to be loved.. with this birthday i 've taken a pledge to never hurt them..love u tonz n tonz pa.. lov u loadz ma.. love u lots gavi..

terracotta..

do u know whats terracotta? its nothing but the word named from latin 'terra cotta' which means earthernware..Terracotta was the only ceramic produced by Western and Columbian people till 14th century.Terracotta has been used throughout history for sculpture and pottery, as well as bricks and roof. In ancient times, the first clay sculptures were dried in the sun after being formed. Later, they were placed in the ashes of open hearths to harden, and finally kilns were used, similar to those used for pottery..but nowadays terracotta jewels has become a fashion..its made in different shapes and baked at high temperature. so that it turns as a ceramic jewelry.. same way quilling paper.. quilling papers are normal color paper cut in different dimensions. key chains, stud, pendant, photo frames, etc are made from it.. its also ecofriendly 

two days..

Its few days i have been here, was bit busy with exams and holidays were also started.. as its the month of may, our family planned to go for a short trip.. me with 51 members went for the tour.. tour had 3 nights and 2 days..first day was to our family temple, it had no proper facility for necessary things. As it's located in a village, we enjoyed the surroundings. Then poojas and other traditional formalities, birds song, canals were awesome and was interesting to see all those.. .. next day' plan was to kuttralam. There we stayed in a cottage.. it was a very nice experience.. nice climate, park, falls, nearby dam, running water, etc.. Also we took a cook with us.. he cooked for us.. we all ate together.. it was really fantastic to sit with family and enjoy .. we had songs, dance, games, etc.. on the whole last two days were superb and had a great time.. now again back to "whats next?!?" :(:(
